Cut the spare ribs into convenient pieces (about 1 einches length). Rinse and drain well, add in marinade, mix well. Deep-fry into hot oil for a while. Remove and keep aside. |

Bring the water and the rest of ingredients to a boil, add in prefried spare ribs pieces and seasoning, bring back to the boil, then reduce to low heat, simmer for about 1 ehours or until the spare ribs are tender and the gravy is slightly thick. Remove from heat. Serve hot. |
