Sian Roasted Chicken |

| Ingredients |
· 1 no chicken
|

| Ingredients (A) (Chinese herbs) |
· 50g tong sum, 5g choon kong
· 50g fok sum, 50g wai sum
· 1 tbsp qizi, 20g yu zhu
· 4-5 red dates, 1 tbsp light soy sauce
· A pinch of pepper, salt to taste

· 2 tbsp (prefried) xanthoxylan seeds powder
· 1 tbsp salt

Method to COOK!

| 1. |
Boil ingredients (A) with 2 bowls of water over low heat for 30 minutes. |

Add in chicken to boil both sides for 8 minutes |

| 3. |
Remove chicken and spoon the boiled herbs into chicken stomach, prick hole and apply ingredients (B) all over the skin. |

Roast chicken in preheated oven at 180degree C for 30-35 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Serve with the herbs and the gravy. |
