Sponge Cake
 
 
 Ingredients · 6 eggs
· 220g granulated sugar
· 175g plain flour
· 10 inch food steamer
· 1 sheet grease proof paper
 
Method to COOK!
 
1. Sieve flour thrice, set aside.
 
2. Line base and sides of steamer with grease paper. Place steamer on boiling water in wok. Set aside.
 
3. Whisk eggs in a mixer, add sugar gradually. Whisk until mixture is light and creamy. Divide flour into several portions and put one portion into mixture each time. Stir lightly with hands. Fold into steamer immediately (starting from the centre). Cover and steam for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Allow to cool. Cut into serving pieces.
