Method to COOK!

Combine the spare ribs with marinade and marinate for 15 minutes. Deep-fry into hot oil until golden browned. Remove and drain well. |

To make honey lemon sauce: mix all sauce ingredients until well combined. Pour the sauce mixture into a pot. Bring to the boil, and then reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour until the sauce has thickened. Remove from the heat, through sieve, keep aside. |

Heat up 2 tbsp oil in a preheated wok. Add in 1 bowl (about 300ml) of the cooked honey lemon sauce, put in lemon slices and cook together for about 1 minute. |

Add in the prefried spare ribs, stirring constantly over high heat until the sauce has thickened. Dish up and serve. |

This spiced sauce can be used for three times. The remaining sauce can also be kept in the fridge for later use. |
