Blackcurrant Spare Ribs
 
 
 Ingredients · I kg spare ribs (sectioned)
· 1 1 tbsp chopped garlic
 
 Marinade ·1 tbsp light soy sauce
·1 tsp salt
·emonosodium glutamate
·1 tsp pepper
·1 no egg yolk
·3 tbsp cornstarch
 
 Blackcurrant sauce: (mix well) ·4 tbsp blackcurrant jam
·2 tbsp tomato sauce
·2 tbsp vinegar
·2 tbsp sugar
·5 tbsp water
·1 tsp salt

  Method to COOK!
 
1. Season the spare ribs with the marinade well, marinate for 20 minutes, deep-fry until cooked and golden brown, dish up and drain well.
 
2. Leave 2 tbsp oil in a preheated wok to fragrant chopped garlic, pour in the blackcurrant sauce mixture, bring to the boil, then thicken the sauce with 1 tbsp cornstarch solutions, put in spare ribs and keep stirring over high heat until the spare ribs is well coated with the sauce.
