Pumpkin Rice
 
 
 Ingredients · 500g long-grain rice
· 300g peeled pumpkin / pumpkin flesh
· 5 mushrooms (diced)
· 80g ham (diced)
· 80g green peas
· 850ml water
· 3 tbsp dried shrimps
 Seasoning · 2 tsp chopped ginger
· 2 tbsp oyster sauce
· 1 tsp salt
· 1/2 tsp sesame oil
· 1/2 tsp pepper

  Method to COOK!
 
1. Rinse pumpkin flesh and cut into dices. Heat up a little oil in a preheated wok to saut¨¦ the pumpkin until fragrant. Dish up, drain and keep aside.
 
2. Rinse rice and drain well.
 
3. Heat up 2 tbsp oil in a preheated wok, stir-fry the diced ham and put in mushroom dices and keep stirring until fragrant. Then add in rice and seasoning, stir well. Transfer all ingredients to the rice cooker. Pour in water and cook covered until the rice cooked through. Blend in fried pumpkin dices and green peas. Simmer with covered till the pumpkin are cooked or tender. Mix well.
 
4. Heat up a little oil to fry shrimps. Dish up and sprinkle over to the cooked rice. Serve hot.
