Steamed Mushrooms With Gluten Puffs
 
 
 Ingredients · 150g prefried gluten puffs
· 12 mushrooms, soaked
· 12 button mushrooms
· 12 straw mushrooms, 1/2 carrots
· 5 slices ginger
 
 Seasoning ·1 tbsp oyster sauce
·1/2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp bean paste
·1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil
·Pepper to taste, 1 bowl water
 
 Garnishing ·Adequate carrots, sliced and scalded
·4 baby corns, scalded and cut into half

  Method to COOK!
 
1. Rinse and scalded mushrooms, button mushrooms and straw mushrooms dish up and drain.
 
2. Heat up 1 tbsp oil, saut¨¦ ginger till fragrant. Stir in mushrooms well. Add in button mushrooms and straw mushrooms, stir fry. Pour in water, bring to boil. Blend in the remaining seasoning. Simmer over low heat until the gravy is thickened. Stir in prefried gluten puffs well, dish up and drain.
 
3. Arrange the mushrooms into deep bowl. Pour in prefried gluten puffs and the remaining ingredients till full. Steam mushrooms bowl over mild heat for 15 minutes till done.
 
4. Turn upside down the mushrooms bowl. Remove the sauce and bring to the boil. Thicken the sauce with some corn flour water. Pour onto dishes and garnish with carrots and baby corns.
