Dau Bao Yam Roll
 
 
 Ingredients · 8 pieces bean curd sheets (Dou Bao)
· 300g yam/taro
· 3 stalks long beans / snake beans
· 50g vegetarian ham
· 1 green apple
 
 Seasoning ·1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper
·1/4 tsp vegetarian monosodium glutamate
·1/2 tbsp corn starch
·Adequate plain flour
 
Method to COOK!
 
1. Peel yam and cut into pieces, steam over medium heat until cooked or tender. Remove, mashed and mix well with the seasoning.
 
2. Cut ham, apple and long beans into vertically strip as long as the "Dou Bao".
 
3. Squeezed the "Dao Bao", flatten and layer with some yam paste mixture. Place on a striped of ham, apple and long beans equally, and then roll up. Dust with a little plain flour. Deep-fry into hot oil till crispy or golden browned. Serve.
